Ohh PLEASE!!!!

Get yourself away from your personal financial pain and address the true reason for the children in poverty as you identify here.

Lets look at a simple case of fake items, sports clothing. Clothing manufacturers do not actually manufacture, they put their work out to sweat shops, paying a pittance for their labour and charging a fortune for their products at retail.
Fighting for survival and armed with these manufacturing skills, why wouldn't sweat shops take the opportunity to make a little more income by selling the same quality items for a realistic price.

Barons of industry screw the life out of third world manufacturing houses and justify their wealth by offering tax relief donations to charities in their own country. Why not show some charity to the source of their wealth? Answer, because it offers no tax relief to their mounting fortune.

No child was sent to the streets by someone selling a fake Ferrari or copy diamond encrusted evening dress. How is it a certain sporting icon can receive a $47Million endorsement or a computer icon can become a billionaire? By not showing an interest in the men, women and children earning $1 an hour to manufacturer the goods that created their wealth.

These people are fighting for survival, some are becoming wealthy in their own culture but nothing when compared to the corporate parasites who whinge about the threat to their brands. Corporate greed sends these children to the streets, nothing more, nothing less.

Ebay pays lip service to preventing counterfeits from being sold on its sites. The fact is, Ebay sites worldwide have stores that continually sell fakes. As an Ebayer myself, I've pointed out obvious fakes many times to Ebay staff, with no resulting removal of the offending items. Ebay is happy as long as large numbers of customers don't complain. They make a huge profit from collecting commissions on fake items. And most people who buy fakes, understand that's what they must be, taking into consideration the prices compared with retail store pricing for the same items. The sellers set the price at a level that guarantees few people ever complain, even if they suspect the item is a fake.

This is another example of Ebay playing politics. The veneer is smooth. Beneath lays a substantial level of 'profit first'.

My mother gave me a Goyard bag for Christmas. My first instinct is that it is a fake, although she could afford to give the real McCoy. How do I know what it is? It has no label on the inside- is that normal? The style is called "HOBO" and the interior is a kind of beige heavy-ish canvas type material. The stitching is white on an orange leather strap.
Let me know what you think or if there are any special markings on the real ones.
